Pet Policy: Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad gladly accepts any registered service animal on board. Our policy for non-service animals is as such:
1. Pet must be in a
lap (i.e. not on the floor or occupying a seat), in the accompaniment of it’s
owner and on a leash at all times.
2. Must be under 15
lbs.
3. Owner is
responsible for any cleanup due to their pet.
4. Pet is not allowed
in areas of close proximity to food (i.e. the concessions
car).
5. If the pet is
deemed to be more than 15 lbs or a potential disturbance to other passengers, we
reserve the right to respectfully ask the pet owner not to ride or find an
alternative place for the pet to stay while owners are on the train.
