History of Depot
The tiny crossroad village of Elbe was once a thriving lumbering town. The newly built train station building stands on the site of the original Tacoma and Eastern depot, built when the railroad arrived in April 1904. The Depot is also home to our Gift Shop, where you will find items, souvenirs, and local arts and crafts and visitor information.
Gift Shop Hours
Thursday: 12pm - 3pm
Friday: 9am - 8pm
Saturday: 9am - 8pm
Sunday: 10am - 4pm
